Recommended Product of the Month - Yoga Swing

These swings are a really fun way to do something healthy for your body every day. Although called a yoga swing, you do not need to be a yogi to use one of these.

They are a simple and enjoyable way to invert your body every day. Why is it important to do inversions every day?

Yoga Swing

When inverted our bodies are given the chance to relax without the normal pressures of gravity. So, parts of your body that are always working against gravity, when inverted, get a chance to relax, repair and recover if needed.

Being inverted is also a great way to stretch your back and abdominal area, creating space for all of your core muscles and internal organs. This space will allow for better function and flexibility.

I use our yoga swing first thing in the morning. After awakening I hang upside down for a few minutes. While inverted I breathe deeply (this is a great time to do your morning intentions).

Recipe and/or Tip of the Month - Dandruff Remedy

Do you have dandruff? Do you know someone that does?

No need to be flaky ... here is a simple and easy tip that you can try;

Apple Cider Vinegar.

Mix one part apple cider vinegar with one part water. Pour onto your hair in the shower and use your fingers to massage into your scalp. Leave on for a few minutes and then rinse.

For more severe cases, apply apple cider vinegar directly to scalp and massage in. Leave in for up to half hour or longer before rinsing.

Often times dandruff is caused by dry skin conditions or a fungal condition. Apple cider vinegar has anti-fungal properties and will also help to rebalance the acid mantle of your scalp, both will help to alleviate dandruff.

Also helpful is to avoid irritating hair care products and know that it is important to treat dandruff from the inside out by eating well and drinking enough water.

AND apple cider vinegar hair rinses remove build up and leave your hair super shiny and soft!!!!

Apple cider vinegar can be found in most healthy grocery stores or you can purchase apple cider vinegar, here.
